WASHINGTON, D.C.— Today, Congressman Glenn Ivey hosted a press conference at the U.S. House of Representative’s Press Gallery countering the nomination of Kash Patel as FBI Director. Congressman Ivey was joined by Congresswoman Jennifer McClellan (VA-04), Congressman Seth Magaziner (RI-02), and Congresswoman Kamlager-Dove (CA-37). The press conference was held after Congressman Ivey led a letter with 30 of his Congressional colleagues as co-signors, sharing their concern regarding Patel’s nomination.

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senators Chris Van Hollen and Ben Cardin and Congressmen Steny H. Hoyer, Dutch Ruppersberger, John Sarbanes, Kweisi Mfume, Jamie Raskin, David Trone, and Glenn Ivey (all D-Md.) today announced $7,393,350 in federal funding to strengthen security at 50 churches, synagogues, mosques, and other religious community centers across Maryland.
Today, Congressman Glenn Ivey (MD-04) joined his colleagues on the Task Force on the Attempted Assassination of Donald J. Trump for a final hearing entitled “Secret Service Security Failures and the Attempts to Assassinate President-Elect Donald J. Trump.”
