WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congressman Glenn Ivey (MD-04), who sits on the House Judiciary Committee, House Homeland Security Committee, and Ethics Committee, today responded via Twitter to news of Justice Thomas accepting luxury trips from real estate magnate and Republican mega-donor Harlan Crow.

“This shows incredibly poor judgment and undermines public confidence in the judiciary, especially at a time when the Trump wing of the Supreme Court is rolling back long-protected rights in apparently partisan legal opinions. Disclosure is a floor. The highest court in the land should hold itself to the highest possible standards.”
