On Friday, January 26, 2024, Congressman Glenn Ivey will host a forum to discuss the impacts of gun violence on victims, survivors, and the community.

The Action Summit discussion will feature prominent leaders gun violence prevention movement and efforts to prevent further violence in our communities.

This forum comes on the heels of the recent shootings and rulings handed down by the Supreme Court on gun regulation.  The panelists and hosts will engage the survivors, activists, and researchers in attendance as well as those interested parties who have registered to address possible impacts of gun violence not only in Maryland but across the country.

PRESS CONFERENCE at 12:15 p.m. with Rep. Glenn Ivey, Dr. Tyreese McAllister (lost daughter to gun violence), afterwards and representatives of:
