Resources for Marylanders Affected by Trump Administration Policies
A Message from Congressman Glenn Ivey:
Dear Neighbor,
Over the past several weeks, the Trump administration has issued a series of extreme and irresponsible executive orders that directly impact families and businesses in Maryland’s Fourth District. My team and I are working relentlessly to understand what these executive orders mean for our constituents - especially civil servants in the federal workforce, immigrant communities, and those who benefit from federal funding. These executive orders are unprecedented. I will not sit by as President Trump upends our democracy and attempts to usurp the appropriations and budget authority given to Congress by our Founding Fathers in the Constitution. These unlawful actions taken by the Trump administration undermine our rule of law and the Congressional power of the purse enshrined in Article 1 of the Constitution, place undue stress on millions of American families trying to survive, and have profound consequences for our nation’s health, national security, and state and local infrastructure.
I have heard from constituents across our District and the State of the Maryland about the uncertainty and chaos that the Trump Administration’s actions have caused. In response, my team has developed this resource page to help guide you and provide you with information as we all navigate the changes brought by the new administration. We will continue to update this page as we learn more.
If you have a story to share, please fill out this online form. If you need assistance with a federal agency, please fill out this online request form. My District Office can be reached at 240-906-6262.
Sincerely,
Glenn Ivey
