Congressman Glenn Ivey Provides Statement on Murders at the Capital Jewish Museum

Congressman Glenn Ivey provided the following statement regarding the murders at the Capital Jewish Museum:
“The deadly act of antisemitic violence at the Capital Jewish Museum is horrifying and heartbreaking. A young couple, on the cusp of marriage, were murdered at a place devoted to education, outreach, and understanding.
"Too many of our Jewish neighbors live in fear simply because of their faith. Antisemitism has no place in our society. It is a scourge that must be confronted boldly and consistently—here at home and around the world.
"My prayers are with the victims, their families, and all those impacted by this senseless act of hate. In the face of such darkness, people of goodwill across America must continue to embrace and uplift the rich diversity of backgrounds and beliefs that define our communities.
"I stand firmly with the Jewish community in this painful hour. Together, we must remain united in the fight against hate, bigotry, and violence.”
